Animations are smoother, there are more and better horsemanship controls (that are hidden, such as double forward to spur and something-I-forget to do a hard stop on demand), there are more weapon characteristics (such as axes cleaving multiple enemies), archery is billions of times smoother and more comfortable, the perks on skill levels are.
